Go to Solution. View solution in original post. I keep getting a window that pops up saying my hp advisor has stopped working. I've tried to download a new one but it tells me to open windows update which will not open. I tried to down load the total care but it gave me a code of I think it was or something like that. I closed the window so now I can't give you the exact code.

I'm trying to find and fix problems on my computer but that button leads nowhere. Either it doesn't exist or I don't have permission to open it. I know I screwed up when I deleted everything, I just didn't find out till later! Is there any hope in restoring my computer to factory or am I up the creek without a paddle? While searching for how to get sound on Realteck speakers, I must have somehow disabled HP total care advisor. If anyone knows how to restore sound to my speakers, that would be great.
