I didn't realize just how much I loved my Palm until I started trying to replace my geeky brick cell phone which I also loved. The closest thing on the market right now is the Google G1, but I hate it. Absolutely loathe it. Google tracks your every move and requires you to make a google account to use the phone. Got it anyway. So I'm going old school and getting yet another IIIc, and another I fail to understand WHY there is not such a thing on the market.

Palm could do it if they would make the screen easier to read hey, I'm gettin' old and a real keyboard, miniature for the phone but expandable to full-size so you can type by touch. And put a numeric keypad on it so you can dial without looking at the screen or text without having to use 2 hands. Build me a perfect phone! I decided to buy a supply of these units to keep me stocked until Palm or someone else pulls their head out and builds another sturdy, stable PDA; without unneeded extras.

The only thing I would like to see added in this unit is the memory card slot. The entire Bible fits on less than 2 Meg of this unit's memory, so it is not a critical problem. I will most likely buy several more for my stock.

You can now add any apps you want to install through the traditional Install menu in Palm Desktop and run HotSync without crashes!

Note that HotSync application settings are applied per-user account, so Package Installer will not be disabled for other devices synced to the same PC. You can always view other account settings from the dropdown box at the top of HotSync Manager.

With Palm Desktop installed and HotSync Manager configured to your connection type, you may now proceed. A window will appear prompting you to choose or create an account for your Palm, then begin transferring data.
